Once again, no movement. Curse the formula!!! If digital sales counted at all this thing would be top 20. This song has sold easily over a 100,000 downloads, and not one of them count!

Alright, week 7 finds vertigo once again stronger, but no higher: 32 again.

Hot 100: 32
Modern Rock: 1
Digital: 1
Adult 40: up to 17 from 19

I really wish there were more stations that you could call in requests. It seems to me that it's pointless to put in a request to one of the "kiss fm" stations cause they've already got a set playlist that repeats every hour.

Oh well, maybe with the album coming out in less than 2 weeks, we'll see some movements.

What the? You're still here?

The one good thing, BEAL, is that due to the online leak, some radio stations have now been playing the entire album on air! Now that's some promotion! So I guess that's good news.

I'm just annoyed that "Vertigo" has been stuck at #32 - of all places - for 3 weeks now. I would have preferred to see it go up to #20 then drop than see it linger - with its Gold bar - at #32.

Aren't some of these charts also calculated based on sales? I'm pretty sure they are, and Vertigo was only released on Monday and Tuesday (in NA). So when the single sales start to roll in, isn't likely that we'll see some movement?

There is no U.S. CD release of the single for sale, and I don't think that import sales count (someone correct me if I'm wrong), so Vertigo's placement on these U.S. charts will always be only for airplay (except for the Digital chart of course).

Video charts

VH-1, for what it's worth, plays Vertigo regularly and talks it up usually. This week, the video moves from #18 to #12. Still on track to hit #1 in 2-3 weeks.
