no ABOY in the Uk top 40. surprised its fallen that quickly, tho there were 11 new entries

Down 30 to # 49

Pretty bad drop i guess but this is still better than Walk On which was # 52 in it's 3rd week

In Italy ABOY starts AT #2 in the singles chart.VERY GOOD!
Walk on peaked at #3.....

OT:

Please, someone can tell me how many copies sold Robbie Williams in the first week of his new album?Thanx!

That's a great result for ABOY in Italy - anyone know how many it might have sold ? Also, maybe it will now debut on the worldwide Mediatraffic top 40 this week.

And don't forget the Mega Top 50 chart, where ABOY's still in the top 10, at #10.

i think that singles' charts aren't to be considred as long as they just reflect sales: nowadays 5k hardcore fans are enough to make a song a #1 in the singles chart any given week almost in every country (with the notable exception of UK where the singles' sales are still quite strong)...the only important singles' chart (and so the only one that deserve attention in order to undestand if an album is/will be a success or not) is the one that reflects airplay

Well, the 32 date Vertigo Tour in Europe this summer became the highest GROSSING tour in European history. HTDAAB is the biggest selling album in Europe since December 2004. U2 should sweep the awards, but then again, this is the MTV awards.

In greece htdaab certified platinum last week with sales of 20.000 copies. The music market here in Greece is one of the weakest in the world and the platinum certification is a great achievement.HTDAAB is also the only platinum album in the greek chart by a foreign artist.
