With only 18 weeks left in the year, NLOTH is the 2nd best selling album of the year worldwide.

Anyone out there still want to claim that NLOTH is a "sales flop"?

theres quite a big gap on eminem too, and he seems to have fallen fast everywhere (except the US) maybe wacko jacko is u2's 'biggest threat'

some big drops in sales in US this week, Em down 15%, gaga - 11%, greenday - 27%, also MJ's albums finally dropping down the chart. lots of albums around 30-33k sales in US alone, will be very close on mediatraffic on friday im thinking.

You can only say an album is a flop if it has sold poorly against the other albums charting in the same year. Outselling the rest of the competition or coming close to outselling the rest of the competition in a given year is the opposite of a "flop". The Best selling album has never been refered to as a "flop"!

Once again, what an album sold in 2006 is irrelevant to what albums are selling in 2009 in terms of assessing relative success because of the greatly changed market conditions and the economy.

Someone has never heard of sarcasm...seriously you're too serious about all this
