1-1-3-5-6-4-8-11-8-12-18-15-16-12-15-18-17-21-23-23-30-42-22-//-...(out of top50 for 9 weeks)

Las week I posted in the "week 19" thread that NLOTH was moving up the iTunes chart (slightly). The album started last week out of the top 100 and then it went to the mid-90's, 80's and ended up around 76. So, the average iTunes spot was around 90 for the week. The US billboard charts had them increase from 108 to 93 on the Top 200. So I think there is a relationship to an extent (an increase on iTunes might mean an increase on Billboard/soundscan).

With all that said, I have been looking at NLOTH's performance this week and it started around #100 (it fell from the end of last week) and then went into the 80's, then into the 70's and as of today it is up to #60 (highest I have seen it in a while). What does this mean, perhpas nothing but I feel they might move up on the billboard charts again this week (perhaps into the 80-'s/70's).

Why the increase? My opinion is the Crazy Tonight commercial but perhaps there is something else out there (MJ's albums should start to fall off soon as well). So, I am sorry that I did not have a chart position to post in this thread but I offer a possible "forecast" of the US charts coming up. :shifty:

all the same, its not a massive rise, and wont be sustained unless crazy becomes a hit, or at leats picks up some decent airplay or the blackberry add is shown on TV here.

Does anyone know the chart run in the UK?

I have 1-1-6-9-18-24-34-33-27-19-20-and then ??????

Musiccharts dot net just updated their version of "week 20", which runs through July 12, and NLOTH slips one spot to 33 but with sales increasing to 42,400...about a 5% bump from the previous week but perhaps prior to some of the more recent reasons given in this thread regarding the apparent increase going on this week?

and still no sign of Crazy on Radio 1!

i would say 2 weeks before its commercial release.

something tells me thats when they will release to radio, to try and get a top 10 hit, dont know why just a feeling.

Provided we are talking about the same week, this increase makes much more sense than the sales stagnation revealed by Mediatraffic a few days ago.
