thanks  ...so now HTDAAB has sold 1.1 million copies in the uk? 4 platinum certification is near :)

I think its still a bit short of 1.1m, but 4 x plat shouldn't be too far away.

what is the ATYCLB sales total in the UK?

has HTDAAB already sold more?

In the "week 15 - thread" here in this forum was mentioned, that ATYCLB sold a total of 1,083,169. So ATYCLB has still a little advantage against HTDAAB. But it's only a question of time till HTDAAB's sales figures are better :)

I have very good news...

Australia #26 (#33), with 3 new entries in front of the bomb

Wow, good news for once out of this country!

Long history of good news

I'm very happy HTDAAB rose on the charts (why do you think it did), but I have to differ from the above qoute. When I got the news that there would be a concert video called "Zoo TV live from Sydney", that was indeed the best news I had ever gotten at the time out of your country. It continues to age very well in the concert video collection.

Well, I meant in recent times. I guess ZooTV was good news indeed! Watching SYCMIOYO choke on the charts wasn't exactly nice news and I'm convinced this country has no musical taste. My friend had the radio on for half an hour in his car a couple of weeks ago and no matter what station we went to, it was pure agony for the ears. Yeah, anyway. No idea why HTDAAB rose - I'd speculate increased play of COBL, but as you have probably guessed, I don't listen to the radio enough to know! I did hear Vertigo ONCE, so it must have gotten good airplay!

Has anyone sales figures or platinum certifications for Ireland? What's the sales figures for 1xplatinum?

Its about 15,000 for platinum I think. That is the same as New Zealand. Both New Zealand and Ireland are equal in population. HTDAAB was certified 5 times platinum in Ireland back in December of 2004.
