that's fine. i've heard from quite a few people that the new Eminem is horrible.

how is emeinem only 50,000 behind after 2 weeks. when his first week was roughly same as U2's 1st week & also he had a bigger second week drop than what NLOTH had?

U2 actually dropped more 2nd week : 72% to Eminem's 67.6%

U2 were 21k behind Eminem at this point, after 3 weeks, with 232k & since then they've simply dropped too much too fast to have more than a 55k lead. Currently it's 308k total for No Line vrs 253k for Relapse.

i see what you mean - however Eminem also likely to drop quickly.

from mediatraffic, taken from musicweek:

After dashing to a 2009 first-week best of 166,952, Eminem’s Relapse suffers the biggest second week decline of any number one album so far this year – 67.6%. However, sales of 54,078 copies are enough to keep it ahead of classical crossover quartet Escala’s self-titled debut, which enters at number two on sales of 45,983 copies.

mediatraffic/musicweek have clearly got it wrong here.

Still, just, top 10 in Italy :

1-1-1-2-3-4-5-7-11-10-7-8-9-10

I believe sales have now about reached the 2xP/140k initial ship

Yes Alan Jones in Music Week was wrong there. He always makes mistakes every now & again, like saying TJT had sold close to 2m a year after the OCC had given it 2.665m in the all-time chart

Wow. Dave Matthews Band with a huge week in the US. 420,000 copies. And well deserved as it is a great album

I'd say about time for a third single. Crazy Tonight anyone? :hmm:
