Got this from Puls Music Board a couple minutes ago. Great to see AB is at the best 5 albums of the 90s and even Zooropa is listed:applaud:

This is from the new book, "The 90s: The Inside Stories From the Decade That Rocked." It features interviews/articles from the 90s. In the back of the book is the 100 albums list.

Prior to this, RS only had an Essential Albums of the 90s featured, which divided albums by genre, and albums were not ranked. So, this is the first time RS has ranked 90s albums.

For those 90s fans, enjoy this travel back in time.

GNR Use Your Illusions I&II? Two from Nirvana in the top 10? Downward Spiral at 32?? What were these voters smokin'?

Move this to EYKIW! More people will take notice!!

Happy to see "Achtung Baby" in the Top 5, and really surprised by the amount of "urban" music on the list (after all, this is RollingStone magazine).

My 2 biggest gripes with the list are A) Nirvana @ #1 :)der:) and B) No Nick Cave... where's The Boatman's Call?

They could have at least placed OKC at the top.
True that. I mean, if you're going to give the top spot to an -above average- record because it influenced the music scene at the time, I would think it to be common sense that you might as well award a great record for influencing music well beyond its initial release.
