Pollstar numbers

Where can you view the data on current tours (ie. number of seats available / number of seats sold / venues sold out)? Is it on the Pollstar website somewhere or do they publish it?

Go to www.billboard.com and then go "Top Concerts". This will show you the top 10 grossing concerts entered over the past week. If you want more extensive data, you will need to go to,
www.amusementbusiness.com .

You have to pay to become a member to look at the concert data archives though. But, you will be able to view the data they have on all concerts going back to 1985. For concerts before 1985, your best option would probably be a library that has old copies of Billboard magazine. Amusement business began tracking, recording concert statistics and publishing them in Billboard magazine in 1977.
