Just a thought, whats everyones opinion on the new album covers ability to persuade casual non-U2 fans to buy the record? - It doesnt exactly stand out IMO.

the only pictures i have seen, there is no text - "U2 - NLOTH" - hopefully this will be on it? I cant see people picking the album off the shop shelves unless they know what it is, or people who have heard there is an album out may not be able to find it. Also advertisement for U2 for people to see the name in the #1 album spot?

It will probably have some sticker on the plastic.

Actually I think having no text on the cover would actually encourage people to pick it up and look at the back if nothing more than to see who it is. It could spark an interest.

Cover art has never been a deciding factor in me purchasing a CD. If anything it makes me look on the back, but if I don't know at least some of the music, it could have Jessica Alba naked on it and I still wouldnt buy it..........i'd just find the cover art pic online
