A few years back, someone, I forget who, said that Madonnas follow up to the Sticky and Sweet tour would gross $900 million and thus out gross U2 360.
Well, Madonna just wrapped up her MDNA tour and it fell just slightly short of that $900 million number.
It also fell JUST short of U2 360's $736 million.
Ummm...it also fell short, by a little, of Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour total of $407 million.
It seems to have also just missed beating out U2's Vertigo tour total of $389 million
In fact it fell just shy of $300 million with a final total of $296 million.
So the person who predicted Maddona's tour would gross $900 million was only $600 million off...if only we could remember the music industry guru who made this prediction!
