It's official.. HTDAAB has been certified double Platinum in UK, with more than 600,000 copies shipped to the stores

First Platinum: Nov 26, 2004

Second Platinum: Dic 3, 2004

I'm waiting for last Friday certifications, the album sold 671,000 copies so far and will be (or is) 3x Platinum soon...

What has been the past performances in the UK as far as album sales have gone?

-The Joshua Tree was 6x or 7x Platinum (1,8 or 2,1 million copies)

-R&H and AB were both 4x Platinum (1,200,000 copies)

-ATYCLB was 3x Platinum I think (900,000 copies)

-Best Of 80-90 was 5x Platinum (1,500,000 copies)

-Best Of 90-00 was double Platinum (600,000).
