Correct. They could played to twice as many people and made twice as much money by doing 1 stadium show. And been able to cover more cities/countries. U2 playing arenas in Europe doesn’t make a whole lot of sense from a business perspective.

Checked an old thread and in 2015 U2’s 6 London O2 shows brought in $15,804,021 and sold 104,913 tickets, Belfast’s 2 shows were $2,576,203 and 18,922

What prbiker means is that the AVERAGE attendance per night in London was higher. In 2015 the average attendance per night was 17,486, and in 2018 it was 18,316.

What that tells me is that there were some unsold tickets during the 6 show stretch in 2015.
