It's mind boggling.

He was on tv on saturday and 12 hours later he kills himself. The poor guy must have been bottling up so much inside.

This was hours before his death. I disagree with some of the Youtube comments for this video. There is nothing to suggest what tragic circumstances would arise afterwards in the way he speaks or his eyes. I did notice how his hands shook slightly at the beginning of the program but many people do that if they are nervous, even celebrities.

Depression is a real disease which does not discriminate against how wealthy you are or whether you're a sporting manager.

My thoughts go to his family and friends.

Awful awful news. I still haven't managed to take it in yet. Such a great player, a model pro. And from the sounds of the tributes from his friends he was a great bloke as well.

As a Bolton fan, I was lucky enough to see him play here for three and a half years. Had the pleasure of meeting him after the match he scored against Villa (second to last of that vid). Top man.
