Read that Perth may get a new stadium in the future, 60,000 capacity.

First time I had heard of it, figured that the news was relatively 'new'.

No problem, the rumour comes and goes so often that it's bound to be new to some. Were there any details in your source that suggested it could be up and running soon?

Ok, just saw the Bigfooty thread and news link - could be legit.

Yeah, that's where I got the information. Although I'm not sure about a few posts suggesting that a 80,000 capacity stadium needs to be constructed instead of a 60,000 capacity one.

Pumped for the Showdown. Would be at least nice to not suffer any more serious injuries.

Collingwood By 37
Hawthorn - too classy
Essendon - too quick, but dont underestimate Carlton either.
Geelong - see Hawthorn, but much better
Port Adelaide - If they win two games this year, it'll be the showdowns
Melbourne - There is something wrong if they don't win
Freo - North to start complaining about Brent Harveys chest hair blaming this loss.

Poor Richmond vs Collingwood
Hawthorn vs Weagles
Carlton vs Bombers
Sydney vs Geelong
Port vs Vladelaide
Mould Coast vs Melbourne
Freo vs North

Brisbane to somehow lose a bye.

not a fan of this "three teams have the bye" shit.

Collingwood
Hawthorn
Carlton
Geelong
Adelaide
Melbourne
Fremantle

pretty easy tipping round.

I actually watched TFS for the first time in ages, I loved the Street Talk in Frankston. :D

Richmond vs Collingwood
Hawthorn vs Eagles
Carlton vs Bombers
Sydney vs Geelong
Port vs Adelaide
Gold Coast vs Melbourne
Freo vs North

Tambling's out now and we have two debutants. At this rate we won't have enough players to field. What happens if you can't field 22 players, forfeit? :(

They played pretty well after quarter time, actually. And you can't blame them for Collingwood's reigning superiority over everyone.

Well that's kind of what I meant. Even though they clearly tried to hold their own, they were just being thrown in the fire here and there wasn't much they could do about.

Looking forward to somebody finally beating the Pies.

I just thought it sounded like you had another dig at the Tigers.

Mega roost from 60-70m by Dustin Fletcher.

IT'S ANOTHER DRAW.

What a game. Surely this is a classic? So many lead changes and Dustin Fletcher should never retire, he's almost 36 and he brings down the fastest player on the ground as well as saving Essendon's ass many times?

I'm amazed, what a game.
