Ashley Cole is right up there.

From his autobiography -

Quote:
“Ash! Are you listening?” said a virtually hyperventilating Jonathan. “I’m here in the office and David Dein is saying they aren’t going to give you £60k a week. They’ve agreed £55k and this is their best and final offer. Are you happy with that?”

When I heard Jonathan (Barnett) repeat the figure of £55k, I nearly swerved off the road. “He is taking the piss, Jonathan!” I yelled down the phone. I was so incensed. I was trembling with anger. I couldn’t believe what I’d heard. I suppose it all started to fall apart for me from then on. I’d trusted Mr Dein to push the deal through.

I don't buy it that Manny is more disliked than A-Rod, or even worthy of inclusion. People may feel betrayed by the drug issue, but at least there's SOMETHING to like about him personality-wise, beyond his stats. A-Rod is just a flat-out douche.

And what might that SOMETHING be?

A-Rod never quit on his teammates like Manny did last year with the BoSox.

Seems like a pretty fun-loving guy. Isn't that obvious? He was a huge favorite in Boston and is now in Los Angeles.

No, he just chokes in the post season when it matters most.

Plus:

He's a BITCH.

My A-Rod action figure with kung fu grip is my absolute favorite!

And YES to Nick Saban. I'd throw Urban Meyer on there, too.

I like Ashley Cole.

And this guy is pretty strongly hated in the sports world and routinely gets a huge chorus of boos the first time he steps to the plate in an opponent's stadium...

It isn't pretty obvious. Help me out here. OBVIOUSLY, if Manny is on your team, you're gonna love him. BUT, if he's not, he is a DOUCHEBAG First Class.

Choking in the playoffs does suck, but it's no indicator of him being a douche. AND, doing anything bad against Boston when they are the enemy doesn't count either. You're supposed be a bitch to them.

Quitting on your teammates is Douche First Class. Especially if you're on team that is good. At least when Hall of Fame Douche Gary Sheffield quit on the Brewers AND the Padres, they sucked at the time. So, when Gary jaked it, he wasn't exactly costing his team the World Series. When Manny jaked it for the BoSox last season, he was a distraction to the team's championship aspirations.

Yankee fans know A-Rod is a douche, but he's their douche. He does and says a lot of dumb shit. But, at least eventually the guy owns up to it. When Manny was a cock last season, Manny didn't own up to anything.

Manny is a bigger douche than A-Rod.

Good luck finding a majority of people to agree with you on that one.

Well, Laz, I'm not comparing A-Rod to Manny, but, the people polled DID choose Manny to be on the list.....I suppose the people polled were douches too.
