Last night was the anniversary of his accident, which every commentator made sure to remind us of at least 100 times...

Good for him though.

I had to cancel all my birthday plans yesterday because I'm sick as a dog so I spent the evening watching a couple hockey games; poor Leafs, way to blow a lead.
The Boston-San Jose game was and was it wrong of me to cheer for San Jose just so Boston doesn't get too big for their britches?

Sundin got another two points in the Canucks win

So I placed a friendly wager on last night's game, and as a result I have to wear an Oilers jersey in the office.

I'm starting to feel like I actually care about the Habs and Leafs now...I'm scared, what should I do?

Since my fling last season with Vancouver (I was burned), I'm not sure I'm ready to trust again.

well, don't put any trust in the Leafs, that's for sure...

As for the Habs, meh, they'll fold like laundry around the second round like they usually do

I bought NHL 09 today, and immediately started a franchise...as the Montreal Canadiens

Dude, try be a pro mode - it's brilliant. You have to create a player and then work your way through the AHL into the NHL. I haven't played franchise mode since.
