I second Tony Romo as MVP

Only interesting part of this game

Genuinely curious... my sports have won 4.5 championships in my conscious life. Discount the Heat and we are at 1.5. Cut out UCF, which felt more like a big middle finger to the system.

I remember the magic, the miracle, the 2003 World Series. Same with the 2006 NBA championship. The Lebron era gets a little crazy. But those first two I remember the magic.

Do Patriots fans feel the magic still?

If the haters can still feel the hate, I guess the fans can still feel the magic.

True, I don’t speak for the rest of the opposition but I’ve stopped hating though. Which was sort of my point.

I’ve genuinely become ok with the patriots winning more from here on out, so long as Brady/Bellychick is a thing.

I’m a dolphins fan. I think after like, the Seahawks one, I gave up.

lol no, black eyed peas was far and away the worst half time ever.

i have had two championships won by my teams and the feeling was uncomparable elation, but that came from it being the first time either team has won in my lifetime. i cant see how being a boston sports fan could feel like that kind of magic anymore.

im sure it's differently awesome in its own way when your team is this dominant. but it can't be as special.

That’s how we can reconcile with not being them.

Ok sure BEP was terrible, but there’s something to be said about who acts are expected to get better over time in terms of production. The BEP production was good... for its time. This Maroon 5 performance felt like it was dated 20 years.

I can see how someone who studies strategy, particularly on defense, would find the game fascinating. Belichick and his staff definitely deserve major props for stifiling the league’s second-best offense.

The average viewer sure isn’t going to enjoy it though. I’m glad I was watching movies all day instead of the game.

All the magic was on the sideline with Belichick. The game itself was a snooze.

Even if you love defense like I do, there weren't very many mind-blowing takeaways or any nail-biting goal line stops. It was just the Patriots doing what the Bears did to the Rams a couple months ago and edge blitzing for 3 hours.

And no, I'm not a Patriots hater anymore. They've blessed us with some of the best Super Bowls ever. But that was a pretty awful game by all accounts.
