I believe that the Lakers will be this year's NBA Champion now.

seriously though, i think it's great that we now anoint somebody as "king" and "chosen one" and that we are all "witness" to his greatness before he's even won a championship.

even jordan needed to win a ring before we declared him the best in the league, let alone of all time.
it was just a passing comment dude...

And Howard's been involved in a number of incidents so far but tries to play innocent all the time, which bugs me. It would be OK if he did it once, but it keeps happening.

But that's me, and I've more than once been accused of being crazy.
Yeah, that's not the best trait, but I do love how straightforward he is in acknowledging his shortcomings, successes, etc... with anyone. He rides the team hard, but he also sticks up for them in the press. The Magic truly are one of the most disrespected teams in the league, they're one game away from going to the Finals, and Van Gundy realizes that, you know?

Dwight... I get what you're saying here. He's immature and still unaware of his own strength. Look what he did to Courtney Lee by accident, and he also has given some Magic guys injuries during practice. Is what it is, he'll grow out of it.

But I do get where you're coming from.

We're gonna need that crown back until further notice, "King" James.

Fan-made sign outside the Magic's arena: "Go home, Queen James"

Gay-baiting FTW.

Lebron will not be returning with his team, and is going to spend some time with his mom?

Bitch.

In last night and tonight's games, it was shown why I would choose Kobe over LeBron in the playoffs. Kobe took over the game. LeBrick...nearly disappeared.

That said, a huge reason LA is in the finals and Cleveland is not is because the Lakers have big men who can score. Bynum and Odom are better than any PF or C that Cleveland has, and they have Gasol. Cleveland will have to call the Lakers' front office to find out how to land a big man for a nearly worthless player with an expiring contract.

They could've gotten Antawn Jamison for Wally World's expiring deal and a few other pieces. Certainly an upgrade over what they have now. Weaksauce.

Also, YES!!!

And I absolutely understand where you're coming from, too. I loved Allen Iverson (and have watched maybe a dozen Sixers games total since they traded him), but it was hard to disagree with someone who disliked him.
