The best part, in my view (which is what led me to the Yankees comparison), is that you don't even need to care about results this year. The team is pretty fun and, as it turns out, has very nice pieces.

What are the very nice pieces other than Porzingis?

Frank is a fine prospect. He's the second youngest player in the league and is already one of the team's best defenders, and has (last I saw) the highest assist rate of any rookie.

Hernangomez isn't playing because the Knicks are trying to improve Kanter's and O'Quinn's trade value, but he was an excellent rookie just last year.

You're talking about the Knicks, so having three relatively exciting assets is better than what we have had since the stupid Melo trade.

It warms my heart to see OKC struggling to play as a team, while the players Melo left behind flourish, and the "junk" that Westbrook was "forced" to play with last year, like Oladipo, play lights out.

I'm guessing next time we see Kyrie he'll be sporting a Richard Hamilton style face mask.
And Aron Baynes will be buying him lunch after practice for a while.

How do you guard a 7'3" player with unlimited range?

Last night's Sixers-Lakers game is now my favorite regular season game in NBA history.

After all this time he finally got to high five his hero, T.J. McConnell.

He can't high five Embiid or Simmons, can't reach.
