And I wouldn't even be able to argue that. I hate how our location prevents us from joining any good conferences.

Who's playing QB for you guys this year? I think the Rose Bowl will come down to UA, Stanford and UW this year.

nick foles will be the starter next year. the coaches finally wised up and started playing him after matt scott shit the bed against iowa.

foles played great at times but struggled against USC (even though UA did win). he looked like absolute crap (along with the rest of the team) against nebraska.

UA gets washington, cal, usc and ASU at home.
Oregon, ucla and stanford on the road

just saw this on the espnews scroll:

baylor, kansas, kansas state, iowa state and missouri discuss plans to keep big 12 together and maintain bcs automatic-qualifier status if other schools such as texas and oklahoma leave conference.

::clears throat::

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well now it's looking like the Big 12 is going all in to keep Texas and OK which would mean a 10 team league. So do the Big 10 and Big 12 now switch names?

Supposedly there will be a rule change to allow the Big 12 of now 10 teams to still have a conference championship game and the terms include Texas getting their own network.

I swear, Texas is more high maintenance than a Victoria's Secret model.

My guess is if the Big 12 ends up with 10 teams, the Pac-10 will just add Utah to be the Pac 12.

The Big Ten will not change their name.

That being said, everything I'm reading today says Texas is still splitting for the Pac-10.

There is zero chance that a 10 team Big 12 (which I doubt happens) would get a conference championship game. It would be Oklahoma-Texas almost every year, so why would the conference risk a National Championship spot by having them play twice? More than that what reason would the NCAA have to give them make this exception? I think all this talk is rumours in part from that blogger Chip Brown who seems desperate to remain in the spotlight.

Our girls are just as good looking, so that makes sense.

Texas has turned down the Pac-10. Now it looks like it will just be the Pac-12 with Utah set to get an invite.

The money isn't that big of a deal to me. We're Texas. There's plenty of it. Our own network? Awesome, if it manages to happen. But what does bother me is the fact that a legitimate stamp could have been made on the college football world if major programs like OU and Texas went to the Pac-10, joining USC and Oregon and the like. It would have been a nice step in the right direction, and that's coming from a BSC apologist. Instead, here we are getting to play Iowa State again and again. Considering the fact that Nebraska's defection means two marquee teams in the Big 12minus2, I'm none too pleased.

One funny thing about it, though, is the fact that aggy's "run" to the SEC found them again following Daddy. Sure, this new deal is potentially lucrative for them (they stand to make over $20mil a year on TV revenue along with their Oklahoman and true Texan superiors), but after seeing aggy puff their widdle chests about TRULY saying "goodbye to texas university," here they are again following in our shadow. Here's hoping Garrett Gilbert and Landry "Porn Stache" Jones give them a big ole slap this year.

Chiggariggaroo! Chiggariggarem! Oh no, we're fucked, Texas A&M!
