Once ND beats MSU today I see a clear path to a ND/UConn national title game. Book it.

OK, maybe not

Jesus Christ, Iowa. Bad coaching, no gameplan, bad clock management, too many points left on the field and why the fuck would you continue with Christensen?! This is going to be yet another long year in Big Ten play. Get rid of the whole staff and start over.

Fantastic game between East Carolina and NC State. 30-24 OT comeback win for NC State to pull the upset.

Agree. KF and his stubbornness needs to go away. Some are saying it's because Stanzi ran a pass play instead of taking a knee at the end of the 1st half and his punishment was not playing 2nd half.

Others are speculating that KF wanted to give Christensen one last attempt to win the job....he failed. Feel for the kid, but he just doesn't have it. Remains to be seen if Stanzi is an option (I think he is).

Also, the rotating of kickers in the 4th game is beyond lame. Pick a guy and stick with it. You have one kicker who after the game is 5/6, and you have another who is 1/3...why did you need to put in the least accurate one? Cost Iowa the game and a chance to probably be ranked.

Two weeks off was not a good idea following the OSU game...timing was off, no defense in the first half and they could not sustain a drive in the second...but wait...its now 27-21...probably too late.

Wow USC's offense sucked dick in the fourth quarter. The defence was just swarming that mexican QB.

Ya gotta love it...first USC beats Tosu, then they go down themselves. Beautiful.

Yeah, I'll go halfway with you but these schedules are set in stone 2 and 3 year ahead of time when Virginia was not such a crappy team...I'm not gonna jump on this because I, devout SC fan that I am, am still not sold on the QB...I'll let you know after we beat UCLA later this year...Even I'm not convinced that they deserve #1...

I said this back on 09/02/08 and I meant it...while Sanchez didn't have a good game, neither did Joe McKnight (looked like his freshman debut) and the offensive and defensive lines were pushed around like a jr. varsity team....the Beavers played their game of the season; let's see what happens...I see some other Top 10's falling this week..

I only catch a couple USC games a year but I notice in several of them that they come out flat in the first half. BAW do you see this too?

I personally think USC is out of it even if the Big 12 and SEC winners have one loss. Towards the end of the season, there could be six teams from both those conferences in the Top 25. I believe the only way USC gets in is if a low or unranked team wins the conference championship. For example, if a Vandy or Nebraska lose a conference game in the next few weeks they'll take a big drop. Even if they make it to the conference championship and win they might not have risen into the top 5. A USC or Big Ten winner would probably sneak in ahead of them.
