Well, Purdue has a rich basketball history and was very good not too long ago, so god knows why you're ranting about them.

Northwestern, on the other hand......yeeeeee.

Where were those NW and Purdue games? In the Big Ten, playing at home is such a huge fucking advantage. It is in every sport, and every conference, but I've always felt like it's especially essential in THE B1G.

But they still won't be as bad as Penn St.

That's why I laughed when I saw the "Buckeyes SHOCK Michigan" on CBS's page. It's not a shock to lose on the road in the Big 10. Especially against a quality team on the road.

How many Illini games do you get to a year these days?

I get to way more football games than basketball games. I usually go to just about every home Illini football game, and usually one or two on the road.

This year I attended the annual Illinois/Missouri BRAGGIN' RIGHTS basketball game in St. Louis. It was a blast, and an incredible atmosphere, and we barely lost, and we went to a casino in STL where I lost $100 at a blackjack table.

I didn't realize you attended that many football games, that's great.....

Northwestern was a home game. It was so bad that all the fans started asking if there was a way to avoid 0-18.

I'm going to come in here and talk too soon, but we (TCU) really suck at basketball, this is nothing new to me. But, wow, if the score right now stays the way it is til the end...perhaps the Basketball gods felt we couldn't lose 9 games in a row and showed mercy.

Hahahaha TCU won 62-55. Has any team dropped out of the rankings completely from #5 before?

Holy shit, it was a home game too.

That would have been a fun one to be at.

I'm not going to pretend like I'm suddenly a big TCU basketball fan, but it's still cool to see.

It seems like one of those years that as soon as somebody becomes #1 they get knocked off. Should be a pretty wide open March.

I've been sort of stuck in my B1G bubble, and haven't been paying too much attention to ACC hoops yet this year.

Since when is Miami great as basketball? Wow.

This is probably the best Hurricanes basketball team...ever?

Just from what I've seen lately, they seem to have a huge team (5 guys who are 6'10" or taller this year) and play very physically, which a lot of teams aren't used to.
