I can't imagine seeing your own foot dangling like that.
That was my thought too. I've landed that way several times in sports.

Seriously, when a bone snaps with what seems like relatively minor trauma, you have to be concerned for osteosarcoma. He's supposed to go to surgery tonight so I guess they will be taking a close look at it.

I've read some speculation that he may have already had a stress fracture and that's why the bone snapped so easily. I have heard of that happening to runners before, so seems plausible. There's even a video on YouTube of something very similar happening to a high school cross country runner.

They forfeited 5 games in protest after adidas told them they had to wear sleeves and zubaz for the rest of the season.

I would have to imagine there was some kind of preexisting condition that just wasn't picked up yet. The leg just doesn't react like that simply from landing.

In case anyone is interested in vomiting their pancakes, there are photos of the bone sticking out of his shin.

I haven't felt anything like that since the Kennedy assassination episode of Mad Men.

That was a brutal injury. I saw the replay once and that was enough for me.

Trey Burke is your National Player of the Year. Did you know he was once committed to Penn State?

Not that I expect it to continue, but I suspect poor shot selection and missing free throws may have had something to do with it.

Apparently WSU completely forgot how to break a press over the last 5 minutes.

They went nearly 20 minutes without a turnover and then committed a shitload when they needed the most ball security.

Happiest I've ever been for a team Pitino was associated with.

Now, go Blue.
