i prefer women's tennis, but that may be because i don't watch tennis for game quality.

Men's tennis can turn into a bit of a "I can hit the ball harder than you" comp but what really, really pisses me off re women's tennis is the screaming/squeaking or whatever else those girlies are doing. Makes me want to go and slap someone.

The screams of Venus Williams yesterday were pretty wild, but you can tell that she was in some pain.

This is occasionally true for me

I watch/follow my favourite mainly for the game, though I have no guilt in admitting the attractiveness. And, uh, the country may be a big factor as well.

Why does Lleyton Hewitt have to commentate matches now? I thought it was going to be the end of him and yet we have to put up with his irritating voice for the rest of the tournament.

I hope Roddick survives actually. I know he's largely unpopular in some parts, but I quite like him

agree. he's not nearly as intense as he's portrayed.

I like him, too. His tweets are pretty interesting in addition.

I also really like the look of this Robin Haase, hope he keeps this good work up, could be in for a long match. Roddick's attempt at intimidation would've absolutely frightened the socks off most other unseeded players. I loved Haase's reaction, that's the right way to go about it.

I'm only flicking past the scores every 5 minutes, but he looks like he's taking it right up to Roddick, and then some.

Wawrinka v. Monfils tonight.

Roddick took the second. If Haase is really that good he won't collapse this set.

And Haase has collapsed. The through-the-legs shot he attempted was probably the worst decision made in professional men's tennis for quite a while. Baffling. He deserved to lose the game because of that.
