Lebron getting booed at the free throw line and being seranaded by a chant of "new york knicks" as he walks off the court... in his own building?

I may cry.

Now that defensive performance was a complete 180 from friday night. I haven't been that pumped after a basketball game that I wasn't actually involved in in at least a decade.

Would be s bit more confident if orlando wasn't waiting around the bend, but eh, i'll take it for now

forget that... how about the block anthony carter, of all people, had on diane wade that he took the length of the floor for a layup?

i'm very interested to see how the knicks perform defensively on tuesday, as the magic will be a much harder team for them to guard than the heat, due to dwight howard.

the knicks effectively had 5 players guarding 4, thanks to the offensive ineptitude of jor-el anthony and eric dampier. i don't know how much the big Z has left in the tank, but at least he can knock down a 10 foot jumper. the rest of the guys are pretty much useless, especially jor-el who put forth 3 points in 35 minutes. bosh was very good, as he seems to be all the time against the knicks. wade was awful.

A characteristic of a non-Championship team, the Heat have been awful in close games. I remember back in 2006, that was what made that season so special. All of the come from behind wins and the ability to come up big and walk away from the pressure with the victory.

Gotta pick that up.

Well, I think the Heat's lack of success in close games is to be expected. Lebron always monopolizes the ball in these circumstances, just like he did with the Cavs last year, and goes 1 on 5.

I don't except much from the Knicks tomorrow. I think Howard will have at least a 30/20 night. Who's going to guard him, Shawne Williams?

LeBron or not LeBron, the real point I'm trying to make is that the Heat have repetitively held a lead going deep into games and lost it. They're on the reverse end of what I was referring to in my previous post.

So I heard just a snippet this morning on ESPN's Mike and Mike of a Carmello Song set to the tune of Vertigo. Key lyric: You make the New York Knicks for real. Reeeealllll.

Anyone know where one might hear the entire thing?

There is no good sports radio in the morning in Philly because 97.5 runs Mike and Mike and 610 runs the Cataldi and Bunch show.

But then during my lunch hour: 97.5 with Tony Bruno and Harry Mayes. And all is right with the world during that time.
