BTW, I canceled out of TV on the Radio tonight, I need more recovery time from the concert excitement of the past couple of weeks. :)

ANYWAY, I decided that I could not wait the two months between Vancouver and the NYC U2 blitz, and that Montreal is a good midpoint spot, so I just scheduled...

June 16 - U2, Montreal
June 17 - U2, Montreal

Actually don't have a ticket yet for the 17th, but I will. ;)

April 23 - Imagine Dragons - Coliseo de Puerto Rico - San Juan
September 5 - Madonna - Coliseo de Puerto Rico - San Juan

Well, the calendar for the rest of the year is now empty, as Madonna had to postpone the first week of her tour until January. :( At least I have more time to save money for any other shows, or a trip to the U.S. to see U2 again next year!

2016
January 27 & 28 - Madonna - Coliseo de Puerto Rico - San Juan

I've only got two so far.

October 15: U2
October 26: Speedy Ortiz

I'm also going to Rock Werchter for the full four days.

It's been such a slow year.

4/25 - Polaris
5/22 - Crocodiles
5/26 - U2
6/27 - Kendrick Lamar/Ice Cube/Snoop Dogg

Nothing at all before April, one tonight, two coming. Really weak festival lineups this year so I'll probably save my money there.

So true. I'm going to be more drunk than usual at Werchter this year. There aren't many bands I really need to see.

Spontaneously added two more U2 shows. And looks like Sufjan is a go. Yay!

Saw him in Boston Jan 31, was a very good show. Enjoy.

And last night was a great show too, he and Steve Stevens still bring the rock. And for all the drugs he did and turning 60 this year, he is in amazing shape, physically and vocally. Fun night!

Just booked this:

August 22-23 - Afropunk Festival (Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Kelis. Danny Brown, Suicidal Tendencies, Kele, many more), Brooklyn

My first Stones show tonight. Should be a good one! Could rain as well, which would be ironic since it was the same venue that U2 played four years ago where it rained hard in the middle of the show...

Pop artist, how was muse? And blur?

My concert list is very short at the moment,

July 22nd Florence and he Machine
July 29th pond and mark ronson
Oct 12th Robbie Williams

Sigh, I wish I could add some U2 dates and muse dates I. There. I think 2016 is going to be a big year for me!

They were both great shows and in small venues - Muse played a couple of new ones with the rest from their other albums, setlist was heavy on their heavier rock songs. And they played Bliss, which made me happy because I had yet to hear it live despite seeing them as headliner 5-6 previous times and eight opening for U2. Blur was fantastic too in an even smaller venue (and it was for free!), that one they played the full new album (minus one track) and then three classic tracks. Fortunately the new album is quite good. Also one of the best audiences I have ever seen for a show.

5 nights of U2 were pretty amazing. Heard almost all the new album, and AIWIY and Bad, so I'm a happy camper. Had to pay for scalped ticket on Wednesday, but it was worth it to hear The Troubles.
Super excited for Tame Impala in a cemetery. Also, the concert gods are capricious, because the Foo Fighters show was postponed, I had to see Florence on Friday instead of Saturday and now I'll miss War on Drugs. It's a first world problem I know, but dammit. Oh and I'll be out of the country when Garbage plays their debut album front to back.

Just got this in presale, looking forward to seeing Ms. Manson and the guys again!

October 24 - Garbage, Brooklyn

Also already bought my pass for Governor's Ball next year (June 3-5), but I will hold off putting it in the list until the 2016 topic gets started. Basically three days for the price of two single day tix so it will be no biggie if I'm not feeling the lineup one of the days. :)

That should be a great show! Saw them a couple of years ago and they still have it. Bummed I'm missing their LA show.

Yeah, bought my Coachella 2016 pass last week. I  the payment plan.

Yep, I saw them a couple of years back too and they are still rockin' and Shirley is still fierce. :)

Little bit of a leap of faith for me to buy the Gov Ball pass already, especially since U2 should still be in tour mode next year, but it is at last year's price (so likely a 20% savings) and I expect they will have enough bands I like to make it worth it. Just hope U2 doesn't have any really convenient dates at the same time (and who knows, they could be part of it! Stranger things have happened).
