Show just announced yesterday, and remained pretty under the radar (very rare!) when it went on sale this morning so I snapped up a ticket easily! Probably the top candidate to open for the Irish boys at some point (if they have openers) but nice to get him on his own...

March 24 - Brandon Flowers, NYC

Say what?! He's doing a solo show for his new album?

Thinking of going to see Gang of Four Tuesday night. Wondering if they'll have the guest vocalists from this new album for this show? I doubt it.

Yep! Thankfully I noticed it in the general shows email from the promoter yesterday (it is not one of the two usual promoters), otherwise it has been very under the radar. This is the only one that's been announced (so far, anyway), those on the west coast should probably keep an eye out for a LA and/or Vegas show, I would think.

Never heard back from the publicist regarding Tweedy. Whatevs, thanks for ignoring me, I don't care! (It actually was fine, since I was super sick this week anyway.)

Still waiting to hear on Tycho. If they ignore me too, I'm going to start to wonder if my emails smell bad. :(

Hey all -

I've had to postpone some work trips in April/May that coincided with a couple of shows and as such have a couple of concert tickets I cannot use (stubhub does not accept Aussie credit cards and ebay refuses to allow me to post them).

If you are legitimately living in Vancouver or Glasgow or can get there for the below shows the ticket is yours. No catch. They are e-tickets and I can email them to you. Both have my name on them however there is no need for ID at the venue as they are e-tickets (not will call).

I am totally open to getting a tour program in the mail in exchange however it is not a requirement :)

I do not want to waste these tickets so if you want them you better go! And I'd appreciate that they are not resold.

GLASGOW
Take That Live 2015 (first show of the tour)
Monday April 27
SSE Hydro
General Admission (floor standing)

VANCOUVER
U2
Thursday May 14
Rogers Arena
Section 317 Row 5 (standard seat - up in the heavens but should still be a good view)

Good news is I'll get to see Take That in Munich in October and U2 should tour these parts again soon - so not a tragedy.

Send me a PM if interested and I can email you the PDF ticket.

Adding:
Van Halen- July 7th- Ridgefield, WA
Rush- July 19th- Seattle, WA

Adding: Morrissey- July 23rd- Troutdale, OR

So now I have this

U2- May 14th- Vancouver, BC
U2- May 15th- Vancouver, BC

Rush- July 19th- Seattle, WA
Rush- July 21st- Portland, OR
Mötley Crüe- July 22nd- Eugene, OR
Morrissey- July 23rd- Troutdale, OR

Four concerts in five days is going to be awesome.

Starting to book post-U2 now...just picked this one up this morning, only $20 so why not:

August 6 - Philip Selway, Brooklyn

Again, since I just posted I won't requote, but just picked up tix to...

May 8 - Muse, NYC

I have a 7:45AM flight the next morning to the west coast (ultimately for U2 in Vancouver!) but show is at a 1500-person capacity venue, so I am stoked. I will sleep on the plane. The pre-sale was absolutely miserable even though I was ultimately successful.

I probably should just save these up and post at once, hehe. Anyway, another one just booked:

September 19 - Alabama Shakes, Queens

Looking forward to it, first time attending a show at Forest Hills Stadium, first time back in Forest Hills since I moved from there to Brooklyn over 15 years ago, may go a bit early to have a walk around to see what's changed. :)

I think that is it for now.

I saw your post and am not happy! I got no notification from Muse via email or any social media.

How did you hear of this?

Ugh! But, awesome you are going! :)

I did get email about it, although I think the event appeared in my Facebook feed before I saw the email (can't exactly remember now).

Long time no update. It's been a sparse first part of the year but April and May are shaping up nicely.

Coachella was fantastic as always. AC/DC, Florence, St. Vincent, Tame Impala, The War on Drugs and Jack White were my highlights along with the perfect weather (no windpocalypse). Surprising sets from smaller bands included Nortec Collective (Norteno music with a DJ), Saint Motel, Charles Bradley and Phox. Royal Blood are brilliant. So much noise from 2 guys.

Looking forward to my next few shows. I've never seen Sleater-Kinney or Manic Street Preachers so that should be fun. Noel is always great and then I've heard good things about those boys from Dublin.
