Two onsales in one day is super stressful. Excited to see Depeche again and if the rumors are true, OSL will be amazing.

Am also debating on the Green Day show April 18th as tickets on StubHub are in the $20 range.

The Airborne Toxic Event Tampa and Orlando shows were postponed a month, but a JAX show was added. Perfect for me because seeing them 6 times in 10 days is a bit much, but now I can see them 3 times in 1 month and 3 times in the following.

Best part? I get to turn 21 and go to a show with my favorite band.

El Ten Eleven tonight.

Busy concert week coming up, just got busier:

April 19 - Pharrell, Brooklyn (free RSVP-only show connected with a phone launch - I am a "VIP consumer" for the phone manufacturer, so I am going)

Also, went to one day of this last year and had such a good time I am going for the whole thing this year:

August 31 - September 1 - Made in America Festival, Philadelphia (feat. Nine Inch Nails, Beyonce, Phoenix, Gaslight Anthem, Queens of the Stone Age, Imagine Dragons, Deadmau5, Empire of the Sun, Fitz & the Tantrums, Emeli Sande and many more)

2/1 - Yo La Tengo
3/6 - Unknown Mortal Orchestra/Foxygen/Wampire
3/23 - Stars/Milo Greene/Said the Whale
4/1 - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds/Sharon Van Etten

6/1 - Ariel Pink (Do Division Festival aftershow)
6/14 - Fleetwood Mac
6/15 - Joy Formidable/Bear In Heaven (Taste of Randolph Festival)
6/22 - Everclear/Live/Guster/Sponge
7/9 - Ben Folds Five/Barenaked Ladies

7/11 - Alice Cooper
7/19-21 - Pitchfork Fest
8/4 - Lollapalooza

6/22 - Everclear/Live/Guster/Sponge
7/9 - Ben Folds Five/Barenaked Ladies

1. Sponge exists outside of that one song from the 90s that I always inextricably confuse with candle box?

2. This sounds a lot less awesome in 2013 than it would have in 1998 or 1999.

3. I thought Live broke up. Guess not.

4. Double take on the name of the person posting this. LM, did your interference account get hacked?

5. Again, what year is it?

6. Is Guster using a drummer these days? If so, sell out!

The top gig is Ashley's baby. Ask her.

I would rather see Ben Folds as Ben Folds Five than solo so I'm jumping on that gig before "they" "break up" again (I mean really, who are the other band members? Do they have a say in anything? I just want to make sure there's as much Whatever And Ever Amen in the set as possible). I feel like we just discussed this gig in Random like a week ago.

Possibly, probably in the context of the apparently ridiculous notion that I would like the barenaked ladies.

I listened to Gordon the other day and really liked it. I am looking forward to seeing them, honestly.

I still maintain that born on a pirate ship is much darker than the band's reputation would imply. Gordon is a lot more fun. I'm sure they're still enjoyable live, I know I'd just sorely, sorely miss the Page/Robertson dynamic. Not getting hit in the head with boxes of macaroni and cheese anymore is a plus, though.

First off, let's clear up a few things.

Guster is going to be at the Barenaked Ladies/Ben Folds gig. FILTER is going to be at the Everclear/Live gig.

So, anyways...

I have wanted to see Everclear live soooooo badly for the longest time, I can't help going now when the show's so cheap, even if it's not the "real" band anymore.

And I swear my entire summer concert schedule is turning into one giant 90s reunion. It's ridiculous.

Anyways, here, I can fix all this with our newest concert addition:

2/1 - Yo La Tengo
3/6 - Unknown Mortal Orchestra/Foxygen/Wampire
3/23 - Stars/Milo Greene/Said the Whale
4/1 - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds/Sharon Van Etten
6/1 - Ariel Pink (Do Division Festival aftershow)
6/9 - Pitbull and Ke$ha
6/14 - Fleetwood Mac
6/15 - Joy Formidable/Bear In Heaven (Taste of Randolph Festival)
6/22 - Everclear/Live/Filter/Sponge
7/9 - Barenaked Ladies/Ben Folds Five
7/11 - Alice Cooper
7/19-21 - Pitchfork Fest
8/4 - Lollapalooza

Apparently Guster will not be at our gig. Not sure what the deal with that is, it's the only date they're missing.

Just so you know, I'd go to all that 90s shit in a heartbeat. Well, maybe not, since I'm sure all of them are playing in Boston as well and I'm still pretty tired of driving to Boston. But if they came to Hartford...except for my issues with seeing the current bnl. I'd have no issues with the current everclear since I sort of always thought of them as Art Alexakis and some other guys anyway.

That's my feeling about Everclear as well.

I don't know what to think about Ed singing the songs, but we've talked about this quite a bit lately.

2/1 - Yo La Tengo
3/6 - Unknown Mortal Orchestra/Foxygen/Wampire
3/23 - Stars/Milo Greene/Said the Whale
4/1 - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds/Sharon Van Etten

4/18 - Van Dyke Parks
6/1 - Ariel Pink
6/9 - Ke$ha/Pitbull
6/14 - Fleetwood Mac

6/22 - Everclear/Live/Filter/Sponge
7/9 - Barenaked Ladies/Ben Folds Five
7/11 - Alice Cooper
7/19-21 - Pitchfork Fest
8/4 - Lollapalooza

This might be the strangest concert calendar imaginable.

I really regret not being able to see Paul McCartney when he came here in 2010. Really hope I get to see him live before he calls it quits.

PASSED
01/05 - Deadmau5 - Centro de Convenciones - San Juan

UPCOMING
09/01 - Bruno Mars - Coliseo de Puerto Rico - San Juan [TBC]

Bruno Mars is looking very, very likely. Just need to purchase a ticket!

4/12-14 - Coachella!

5/2 - The Killers - LA Sports Arena
The Rolling Stones - Honda Center
5/26 - Fleetwood Mac - Hollywood Bowl

8/9-11 - Outside Lands

9/22 - M83 with Hollywood Bowl Orchestra - Hollywood Bowl
9/29 - Depeche Mode - Staples Center

10/16 - Atoms for Peace - Hollywood Bowl

I am so freaking excited to finally see the Stones! I was able to score $85 tickets which means there's a chance I will be in the pit.

Also, excited for McCartney at OSL. The Stones and a Beatle in the same year!

2/1 - Yo La Tengo
3/6 - Unknown Mortal Orchestra/Foxygen/Wampire
3/23 - Stars/Milo Greene/Said the Whale
4/1 - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds/Sharon Van Etten

4/27 - Killing Joke
6/1 - Ariel Pink
6/9 - Ke$ha/Pitbull
6/14 - Fleetwood Mac
6/15 - Joy Formidable/Bear In Heaven
6/22 - Everclear/Live/Filter/Sponge
7/9 - Barenaked Ladies/Ben Folds Five
7/11 - Alice Cooper
7/12 - Bob Dylan/Wilco/My Morning Jacket/Richard Thompson (if I can find tickets for this, that is)
7/16 - Paul McCartney (we'll see)
7/19-21 - Pitchfork Fest
8/4 - Lollapalooza

Didn't end up going to see Van Dyke Parks because the weather was horrible in Chicago and the flooding would have made traffic horrendous. I probably would have been late anyway.
