I'm taking my son to see Lacuna Coil on Feb2. I'm seeing Rain (The Beatles tribute) on Mar12. Then I'm seeing Katatonia on May5.

I'm also really hoping King's X manages to tour this year...

Excuse me while I monitor which events I have tickets for. Very easy to forget.
 
Haha nice.

It gets frustrating when the venues don't have hard tickets! Every time I see something at The Beacham here in Orlando they only check you in at the door. Stinks enough that you don't get to take your ticket home with you, but it's also a pain because you don't have the physical tickets to remind you! I almost forgot I'm seeing A Silent Film next week for that very same reason.
 
The script tonight! Got a free ticket from a dide I met at two other gigs.
 
Shows without hard tickets are a pain, so I try to get hard tickets whenever I can. I'm old old school enough to always carry a paper pocket calendar, in which I write down everything. I consult it before I make any plans, so I remember ticketless shows and don't double book myself.
 
A Silent Film was great! Got a setlist, and damn was I close...

New shows in bold. Super excited for Sound City Players tonight. John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks with the Foo Fighters backing. Should be a blast.
 
Muse- 2 shows at Emirates Stadium at end of May, followed by Depeche Mode a couple of days later and then Roger Waters The Wall at Wembley stadium in September...

and errr something trashy at the O2 in early March

Pretty sure there will be Atoms for Peace and Phoenix shows in my future in 2013, waiting to see what else will be in store. The above notwithstanding, if the cycles hold true this should be alt/indie-ish skewing kind of year (one year U2, one year mainstream acts, one year alt/indie...)

Slow start to the oncoming year, but things are starting to pick up - got tix to these two today:

March 22 - Garbage, NYC
May 18 - The Killers, Brooklyn

Side note with The Killers, the Brooklyn show at Barclays will mark the fourth NYC borough that I've seen them in - already have seen them perform in Staten Island, Manhattan, and The Bronx. They will need to play Queens next. :wink:

Picked this one up earlier this week, have been wanting to catch them live for ages but the shows always escaped my radar somehow. I was over a week late after the sale with this one too but fortunately there were still tickets...

Sound City was great! Dave Grohl played on every song, including a few on drums with Krist Novoselic on bass. The highlights for me though were the set with John Fogerty, which included Fortunate Son and my personal fave Bad Moon Rising, and the set with Stevie Nicks.

Just picked up a ticket to see the Killers. I couldn't say no to a show across the street from my office. Even if it's at the ancient and dank Sports Arena. I haven't stepped foot in that place since I was an undergrad.
