Just because the end of the year is coming nearer and nearer everyday, that doesn't mean there are no more artists to check out live. I've just added some more concerts for the final month of the year.

December 4 - The Antlers

Fuck you! :(

My concert year review: De La Soul and The Whitlams. Shame nothing came out of the rumour of Passion Pit coming down here at the end of the year. Concertwise, this year was so bad that some friends asked if I wanted to go to Nickelback. Hopefully next year will be busier... I'm expecting to go to the Future Music Festival in March with The Prodigy, Franz Ferdinand and Empire of the Sun.

Dates are up for the start of next year though.

Speaking of which I was wondering whether to get tockets to see Passion Pit play at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne at the end of January. I read through the Passion Pit thread before and some of you mentioned that the lead singer sounds shit live. I looked up some youtub clips and one of them was good live, 'I've got your number' but then I looked up, 'The Reeling' live and it sounded plain awful.

Tickets are 66 bucks and go on sale Monday. Any word of advice as to whether it is worth it?

Past shows:

July 4th - Elvis Costello and the Imposters
July 16th - The National
July 19th - Pitchfork Music Festival
August 1st - Mos Def
September 30th - Grizzly Bear
October 7th - Why?
October 24th - P.O.S.
November 11th - Dirty Projectors

Probably the last one of the year:

December 11th - Andrew Bird (it's one of his solo Gezelligheid concerts in a cathedral in Minneapolis, I'm expecting nothing short of amazing)

And, for 2010:

June 27th - U2

I'm sure it'll be cosy.
For those attending, is it mandatory to pronounce 'Gezelligheid' correctly in order to be allowed to get in? :D

June 19 - Phoenix @ Terminal 5, NYC
