Hubby is pissed off about trying to get tix. You can try the minute the clock strikes 'on sale' and not get thru, but go to ebay and there's already hundreds of tickets up for sale. BASTARDS!!!

(Not that I care about this particular show, I'm not a Radiohead fan)

I saw them a few years ago and they were awesome. They played for like three hours. It was a wild show.

I got a sixth row center seat for Wilco and Andrew Bird at Tanglewood in Massachusetts in August

My Cat Power date got pushed back. Wayyyyy back. So now:

April 15 - Feist
May 3 - The Raconteurs
May 11 - Wilco
May 18 - Radiohead
August 1-3 - Lollapalooza
October 11 - Cat Power

Yeah, I've wanted to see them for a long time. I can imagine it would be pretty crazy. Aweseome venue too! They're at the Orange Peel here in Asheville.

That happened to me when I went to see Russian Circles and Red Sparowes. Most of the audience was young men. For a moment I thought "What am I doing here? Am I too be to be here?" It didn't help any when the guy carding people swiped my license through the reader and "46" popped up on his screen. But I loved the show anyway, and I got over it. I think I was the oldest person on the floor the first time I saw the Roots. I got tolerant, kind smiles from the kids who thought I was somebody's mom along for the ride. I got over that too.

Screw being "too old."

I just got tickets for the Stray Cats at the Pacific Ampitheatre in July. I am so frickin' excited, I've loved the band since high school and have been lucky enough to see Brian Setzer Orchestra five times but haven't seen Stray Cats yet. I so need a cute outfit for this show.

The current schedule is:
June 6th: R.E.M. at the United Center (Chicago)

Past shows:
The Flaming Lips: December 31st/January 1st
February 15th: Super Furry Animals
March 16th: Bruce Springsteen
March 30th: Explosions in the Sky (in Milwaukee)
April 11th: Bob Saget
April 15th: Anti-Flag

Update:
June 5th: R.E.M.

Two back-to-back nights of R.E.M. goodness!

Rush - May 22- My husband surprised me with front row seats geddy's side!

King Crimson - August 9

I have one planned, that I'm dying to see and that's David Allan Coe at Cowboys bar and how can I go there and not get drunk? of all shows to go to that's the one you would get drunk at.
