Yellowcard (new album 'Lift a Sail')

Any Yellowcard fans here? They are about to release their 7th album 'Lift a Sail' and it's currently streaming on Pandora.

Pandora Premieres - Listen to Unknown, Free on Pandora Internet Radio

They are exploring a lot of new/different sounds and ideas here and I think they pull it off really well. The title track and MSK are fantastic tracks IMO.

It's crazy they have 7 albums already.

Mofo is the only person I think I've ever heard say a good thing about yellowcard. Oh look, there he is.

I've always considered them to be whiny emo with a violin gimmick that doesn't really do much good to set them apart from other mediocre pop emo shit. But for all I know, after 7 albums, they probably don't found anything like they anymore.

At least they seem to have a decent sounding band name as opposed to the several that are discussed in this forum daily.

Sure, because at the end of the day all that really matters is what the band is called.

Album out now on iTunes and everywhere else. Listening with some good cans and damn it sounds good. Some great and subtle production elements spread throughout the record. Really proud of these guys for trying something new and doing it well.

Seeing them in Vegas in just over a week, looking forward to it.
