Just listening to Misunderstood right now as I put off homework. Never heard a Wilco song. It's pretty good. It's kind of like Pavement.

Also, slightly weaker songs in general, but if you want a more upbeat set of songs, here's a selection of some of their fun tracks:

I Must Be High
Outtasite (Outta Mind)
Monday
I'm Always In Love
Nothing'severgonnastandinmyway (again)
ELT
I'm The Man Who Loves You
I'm A Wheel
Wilco (The Song)
I Might

IV dinky listened once, but I'm disappointed after the potential of the lead single. It opens great and finishes strong but the middle just didn't stand out for me. I'll be giving it another try this weekend though, sometimes Wilco is among my favorite bands so I'm not giving up.

I'm not a huge fan of A Shot in the Arm but I know it's popular. Add Far, Far Away and you've got it covered.

I love A Shot in the Arm solely for the line "we fell in love, in the key of C."

Nothingsevergonna.... is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I don't care if it's slight. It's awesome.

I've come to understand the awesomeness of Being There over the past year or so.

Looking forward to listening to the new one today. I heard one of the tracks at Starbucks yesterday morning and really liked it.

I am beginning to feel that Summerteeth is underrated. If it's not one of your top two, you're underrating it.

I realize musical taste is subjective, but I'm pretty sure The Whole Love is the best album of past five years. At least.

I'm also convinced that I have to the band live. Soon:

Meh. Being There has like three better that I didn't include. I've never heard The Late Greats out of context, but it's always a disappointing closer.

End the album just before the 12 minute radiator solo and you've got yourself a better record.

You know what's a pretty great album? This one.

It just feels really classic, in spite of being brand new. I like that aspect, it doesn't sound like everything else released these days, just sounds like a plain, great, rock album. That's pretty refreshing. I didn't really catch the names of songs I loved, but oh the closer is super super pretty.

I heard Black Moon tonight and got chills realizing this is probably something I will be listening to regularly decades from now. I haven't felt that way about new Wilco music in a long time.

The Whole Love just keeps getting better.

I've finally been able to give this some attention this week, just listening in the car running around town. I am happy to report that I really like it! I haven't liked many of their pop songs since Summerteeth and, again, the ones on The Whole Love are the least interesting songs to me. But it's still the best Wilco record since A Ghost is Born. Black Moon is just gorgeous. And I don't see getting sick of that One Sunday Morning riff any time soon.
