Who has your favorite singing voice?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Ohh,

Adam Gontier of Three Days grace,
His voice is so raw-edgy, I love it.
Really strong voice, and amazing live band.

Dave of depeche mode, ofcourse.
Really soft and dark.

Edge voice always had a thing that gives me chills.
Like Bono said , if he opens his mouth,
Its like a gospel choir singing behind you.

I have many more, but I can't think of them right now.

Morrissey
Till Lindemann (rammstein)
Brandon Flowers (the killers)
Gavin Friday
Roy Orbison
Johnny Cash

I can't believe I forgot Morrissey. And Jeff Buckley. And Peter Gabriel (I'm listening to "Red Rain" as I'm typing this.

And Bono of course. But I assumed that was a given.

Neil Young
Stephen Stills
Dylan
Leonard Cohen
Denny Doherty
Judy Collins
Sinead O'Connnor
Whitney Houston
Eddie Vedder
Tom Petty

How did we get so many "non-regulars" to respond in this thread? What kind of voodoo are you doing, GAF?

Most of the greats have been mentioned already, but I'd like to give props to Mark Hollis of Talk Talk. What a fucking epic voice. It made even their upbeat songs sound heartbreaking.

Yeah I know it's not cool to like U2 around Interference, but Bono by far, there's just something so much more worldly and soulful than rock in Bono's voice and range of styles.

RIP Fave, Jeff Buckley.

I dig Harriet Wheeler, but I have to deduct points from your post for lack of pictures of the aforementioned Harriet Wheeler.

:D

Just trying to keep the poll objective, at least for a while! Photos would be such a cheap, needless blow to other candidates' chances...
