I wish that we could talk about it
But there, that's the problem.
With someone new I couldn't start it
Too late, for beginnings.

Oh great, there is a band named Phoenix. I thought so There goes the easy band-after-character name option (which usually doesn't work in writing anyhow ^^)!

Yep there is indeed a band named Phoenix. They're really awesome and I've seen them once live. I need more of their discography.

The last few days I've been listening to Western Canadian indie-pop five piece Mother Mother. Some excellent tunes there, and I'm looking forward to seeing them live next month.

Been working on getting into Elvis Costello's music further in the last number of months, and recently I've started doing the same with Bruce Springsteen. Knew all his big songs, just started hearing some of his albums, and liking what I've heard thus far, Nebraska (this album freakin' KILLED me, so depressing but SO GOOD) and The River being particular favorites ("Drive All Night"-man, can we talk for a second about how sexy that song is?)
