Somethin like that.

Ehhhhh, I already don't like it. But I'll stick with it. Obviously, there's a ton of stuff that is right up there with those albums. I guess these 10 are just the BIG inescapable ones from my youth that have had the most impact. I don't know.

1. The Dreaming by Kate Bush
2. Animals by Pink Floyd
3. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway by Genesis
4. Ra by Utopia
5. The Joshua Tree by U2
6. Synchronicity by The Police
7. Disintegration by The Cure

2. The White Album by The Beatles
9. Doolittle by The Pixies

Hmm. We share our top 2 in order, as well as Doolittle. And on some days I'd have Tracks on my list over Oh Mercy. Not today though:

1. Achtung Baby
2. The White Album
3. Pavement, Wowee Zowee
4. Steely Dan, Countdown to Ecstasy
5. The Replacements, Pleased to Me
6. Sugar, Copper Blue

9. New Order, Brotherhood
10. Bob Dylan, Oh Mercy

Too bad you only listed 9 albums. No wonder you're an incomplete human being. FAIL.

And yet we are so different. I recently acquired all of Oh Mercy, so I'll have to give a spin. I only had "Political World" and "Most of the Time" previously, both of which I love.

Ahhh, nice catch. I was never good at the maths. I guess I'll toss The Stone Roses self-titled debut in that #10 position. Or maybe Revolver. Or maybe Appetite For Destruction. Or Document. Or Crooked Rain. Damn.

If you're interested in compiling "Mo' Mercy", my deluxe version which include the brilliant songs Dylan cut over Lanois' protests, let me know. It's even more of a masterpiece, and rivals any of the recent renaissance albums.

Maybe yes. Maybe no. Maybe go fuck yourself.

The first 6 are more or less static, and the last 4 can change depending on what day it is.

Always fluctuating. When LemonMelon ran his brilliant top Interference album thing, I was convinced that no album that I had already listened to could challenge the Stone Roses for second position, but then Achtung Baby decided to blow my mind every which way possible a few months back, and it snared second position.

Ok Computer has fallen, Unknown Pleasures has risen in favourability.

The top three, in my view, are utterly flawless. There is nothing bad at all about the albums.

I'd love to discover an album that could top The Queen Is Dead, can't envisage it happening though, but ya never know.

1. The Queen Is Dead
2. Achtung Baby
3. The Stone Roses
4. The Man Who
5. (What's The Story) Morning Glory
6. Unknown Pleasures
7. The Joshua Tree
8. A Rush Of Blood To The Head
9. Turn On The Bright Lights
10. OK Computer

MBV - Loveless
Chapterhouse -Whirlpool
Curtis Mayfield - Curtis
Zooropa/UF/War whatever

8) U2- No Line On The Horizon
9) Michael W. Smith- This Is Your Time
10) U2- Achtung, Baby

Yeah, that was a great time. For a nice comparison, here's the thread with the individual lists: http://www.u2interference.com/forum...time-listmania-top-100-individual-191030.html (the first post also contains the link to the brilliant countdown)
It might be interesting to see how people are voting now compared to how they did last year.

For me, my top 10 has remained the same. Though below it some albums might have changed positions. And a few might have entered the list (I only listened to it a few times, but Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' The Boatman's Call is a brilliant album). Still, my top 10 has remained stable. For now.

1. Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
2. Talk Talk - The Colour Of Spring
3. U2 - Achtung Baby
4. U2 - Zooropa
5. Jimi Hendix Experience - Electric Ladyland
6. Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
7. Emmylou Harris - Red Dirt Girl
8. Lou Reed - Berlin
9. Johan - Pergola
10. Spearhead - Home

:)

1. U2: The Unforgettable Fire
2. Anathema: Judgement
3. Porcupine Tree: Stupid Dream

6. Russian Circles: Station
7. Orphaned Land: Mabool
8. The Cure: Faith
9. Alcest: Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde
10. Joy Division: Unknown Pleasures

Or something like that, I don't know.

I'm not ranking.

Low - David Bowie
The Wild, The Innocent, & The E Street Shuffle - Bruce
Homogenic - Bjork
Remain In Light - Talking Heads
Blood on the Tracks - Bob Dylan
The Joshua Tree - Shuttlecock
Another Green World - Eno
Let Love In - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Out of Time - REM
After The Goldrush - Neil Young

Honestly, this is probably the list I agree most with thus far. All of these albums are fantastic except for Out Of Time, which isn't even one of REM's top 5 albums, let alone one of the all-time 10 best.

Yeah, that was a great time. For a nice comparison, here's the thread with the individual lists: http://www.u2interference.com/forum...time-listmania-top-100-individual-191030.html (the first post also contains the link to the brilliant countdown)

That thread title really needs to be changed from Listmania to Lisztomania. It's too perfect. Maybe Phoenix were lurking?
