Supergrass - Diamond Hoo Ha

I love Supergrass, but I've got to say...it's not a great record. The melodies are good throughout and their influences are fantastic, but it feels soulless and mailed-in to me. A few tracks with spark, and a whole lot of faceless pseudo-glam rock. Only those few tracks will stick with me for any length of time. Regardless, it's enjoyable, and it won't diminish their other classic records for me any.

Oh man... yeah... I should have started with Takk! Sooo much easier to listen to! With AB, I kinda lost interest after track 4 although I did skip ahead and listen to the title track since you said it was your favorite. As for Takk, I like it. It's beautiful. And I get the feeling I will like it more on second listen.
