This afternoon, while at work, I listened to a stream of the new album by The Verve called Forth.
I'm not sure what to think of it after just one listen. Not bad, but also quite like Urban Hymns in sound. Not sure if the songs are as strong though. And it also seems they can't write a short song (is any song on Forth less than 5 minutes?) and at the moment I'm a bit more in a short songs/short album mindset (with the albums by Voicst, Gem and Coldplay to name just a few).
