Finally got to listen to this last night and again this morning during my commute. A really good, warm record. Within and Without You is fantastic, but I've always found it somewhat distant. Paracosm feels more intimate. It's a good summer record for sure, but I think it will also work for the first couple of months of autumn.

This thing is almost ambient on the back end - especially Paracosm, as the song title implies. I like it.

Yeah, in general I favour Within & Without and it'll take a lot to top its opening three tracks for me, but All I Know is incredible and right up there with his best previous tracks.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Really enjoyed my first few listens, although I think I prefer the previous album still.

Bliss.

Love the synthy windchimey things on the title track.

I'm not sold on this band/musician so far, but I concur that All I Know is indeed a great song.
