Thanks, man! I've seen his pedal board, too, which is my hobby.

Considering going to the Cincinnati show. Man, I don't know though, DLR is bloody awful! But EVH is so damned good! I'll probably just go, cross another band off the bucket list, and have a good time in the process!

$151.50 plus fees. (Couldn't have been a coincidence that lowest price was $51.50 and highest was $151.50)

DLR is not that bad at all, plus he is funny. Most singers do struggle a little more live than they do in the studio. Think about it, is there any other singer you would rather hear singing Jump, Panama, Ain't Talking About Love, Hear About It Later than DLR?

Gary Cherone would do a way better job, but that ship has long sailed. As far as Dave's singing goes, well he is pretty funny. There's hyperbole and then there's the truth. Dave can't sing (anymore). I discovered that a long time ago. But his bread and butter is with the Van Halen family. It's pointless for him to tour as a solo act because EVH is the best guitarist for him to perform with if he's gonna do VH songs.

I'd see Van Halen with anyone singing, even Leo or that weird 7 yr old kid from the Song For Someone youtube video as long as Eddie is on top of his game, and since he got sober, he has been playing as well as he ever has. Roth being there assures that the best, most rocking material will be played (and unfortunately Jump). Dave was never a great vocalist, and he has deteriorated over the years, but the backing vocals help him out and its still a great show. Seen 4 shows ( 2 each tour) since he got back with them and they've all been great.

I don't mean to dog DLR. I'm happy that he's together with Van Halen. I've been a fan of theirs since I was ten and they were a big part of my childhood.

Eddie was a bit of a train wreck (missing notes, etc) when I saw them (twice). He looks better now. The arena sound mix was bad too. The outdoor sound seems better - I may go again.

I went back and listened to a few 1980-84 bootlegs, DLR wasn't singing too much better than he is now. If the internet had been around back then they may not have made it psst the first tour. Having said that, the singer for the Atomic Punks (a local DLR-era tribute band) is a better DLR than DLR ever was, and looks like him too.
