It's a little slower, a little longer and a little less good than the last album, but it's still great.

Not gonna lie. There's an incredible epic ness to this album. Listening to it with headphones on in the dark reminded me of the first time I heard the Joshua Tree.

I'll pick it up this afternoon for my drive to Phoenix tomorrow.

This, and Iron and Wine today, and I'm off to Florida for a long weekend. Can't wait to get back and get these.

(Hi, thanks for asking, I don't use Spotify on my phone.)

Holy fuck this is good.

Not sure there is a song quite the equal of "An Ocean in Between the Waves" but the whole album is as good as the last, maybe better.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I could listen to Granduciel sing all day.

It's gorgeous after one full listen, but nothing strikes me as breathtaking as Under The Pressure, Red Eyes, Ocean or Disappearing. Early days though..
