No this thread isn't about The National but it is about the band The Slow Show. Coincidentally, or not, they do sound a lot like The National. The music isn't very original no, but they do have some cracking songs. I only just discovered their debut album. If I had listened to it earlier it would have definitely been on my year-end list.
