Oh shit, that's really sad. I don't know much about him, other than his iconic status within the genre(s) and that he played on Aja, but damn. Gonna listen to Deluge all day, probably my favourite jazz song ever.

I will always cherish his collaboration with Milton Nascimento in Native Dancer, which was a good signal of his cultural openness and curiosity. One of the greats.
