The INTERFERENCE 500 Greatest Albums of All Time

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I think we all know there's been threads about it in the recently past.
But this is about the 500 greatest, which I think is a lot better.

Anyway, if you're not going to post something useful here, I ask you to not post, ok?
We're just trying to have some fun here.

Yeah, that's cool. But if you've already got a fair top 100, why do you want a bottom 400?

Sure, go on - have your fun. Just don't expect people to be flocking over here for anything other than a giggle.

I still believe that there's people that won't lose their time just to post on a thread where they have nothing useful to say (Not talking bout you, and thanks for the warning.)
If anyone wants to post lists, I'm still here.

(This took a while)

Thank you MadForlt....I'm already doing the math here
Keep it up folks

Unfortunately no, since no one else besides you and the tourist posted...
Sad, but what can we do?

Unless people start to post, then I still can work on count the votes and etc.

Coincidentally I've been without logging on for quite some time until today... I still would be up to do the math... if a fairly amount of people agree to post first, of course.

2008, actually.

The thing is, with 500 albums, we would have like four Rush albums on the list with one vote each, and the membership hasn't changed enough to make another list of 100 worthwhile.

My top fifty/hundred list would be totally different now than it used to be, but I'm not sure how many people have had the musical overhaul that I have over the past year and a half.

For the same reason as Peef, I wouldn't mind doing another top hundred, but 500 is ridiculous.

Also, I'd be interested in doing a top 100 artists. Yeah, #1/#2 would be either U2 or The Beatles, but it's the lower tier artists that might prove to be kind of interesting. just throwing that out there.

For the same reason as Peef, I wouldn't mind doing another top hundred, but 500 is ridiculous.

This is why I didn't submit a list last time. Who am I kidding, I probably wouldn't even be able to rank 100, I'd just leave them rank-less.

Well, in the first post it says that people should do 100-albums lists and then from those lists a 500 one would be compiled... but it could be 250 or a 100 again... if it's the latter then people could make 50-albums lists again. :hmm: However there should be a good number of people confirming to do their lists, to make sure it'll work.

Seriously, how many times can it be said that a top 500 is ridiculous? 100 max if we're doing this again.

You know what, I think I'm going to go ahead and do the artists competition for the hell of it.

Would any of you out there be able to make a list of a top 25 artists? I think 50 would be a stretch...

Not sure how I feel about this, since it seems all of the results come out to be a same crop of artists/albums no matter when we do it.

It's with the individual lists where it gets fun.
