This thread will be open throughout the weekend, sorry that I was so late in putting it up.

This is just sad guys, 5 votes? :tsk:

"Jumping Someone Else's Train" gets the boot

I don't even care anymore. As long as a Pornography track doesn't win. Or the Funeral Party, I guess, which is fine but not worthy of winning the whole thing. Why is it still here?

Why is it still here?

Because it's the best song The Cure have ever released.

Very little idea what to vote for here. I won't touch The Funeral Party, Charlotte Sometimes, and Pictures of You since they are my top three remaining, but the others? They're all great tracks and it's going to be a hard decision. I think I'll end up voting for one of 10:15 Saturday Night, The Hanging Garden, or Just Like Heaven.

The Funeral Party is one of their best.

Either Boys Don't Cry or Charlotte Sometimes. That's going to be a fine list of songs once those are gone.

I think I'm going to have to vote for All Cats Are Grey here. I like it, but it's a bit plodding and lacks the immediacy of the other tracks here.

ACAG is literally the only song I care about keeping around. The others are all kind of "duh, everyone has played that one to death." I'm stunned it's still here.

I can't decide... and it looks like this round is going to have the worst result yet too. :tsk:

Will give some of the tracks a spin on the way to work and then vote. Must admit I'm kind of tempted to make this a triple elimination just to kick us through the finals quickly, especially if the voting turnout is going to remain so much mysteriously lower than for the albums.

This round just about killed Faith. Pathetic. Might as well vote off Boys Don't Cry to speed this along, though that's easily one of the best tracks here.

Fuck it. I don't have that much invested in Boys Don't Cry, and my travelling-to-work listening compels me to revise my earlier comments with regards to 10:15 Saturday Night, which is definitely better than BDC.

I was just listening to Faith. I can't believe those two songs are about to go. The Cure never got closer to perfection than with that album. I could fanboy about it for ages but I'll spare everyone.

I'd like to get The Hanging Garden out of here next round, but I wouldn't cry for 10:15 either.

This will be unpopular, but the two Disintegration tracks look like the weakest left to me. But I also really love the super post-punk Cure era, so there you have it.

Hahahaha All Cats Are Grey LIVES

Ashley, Axver, let's go Hanging Garden next round. If Liam comes around to vote for it again, we can keep ACAG around a bit longer. Hell, three votes would probably do it.

I'm in.
