Jeeez, how are there only 2 songs from Disintegration left?

Double elimination took out both "Fascination Street" and "Lovesong"

It's hard now. I went with Jumping Someone Else's Train though.

I also have to say I think Lovesong deserved to stay a lot longer than it did. I'm thinking that the dozens of mediocre to dreadful covers floating around have damaged it some extent, but I'm hard pressed to think of another love-oriented track that is as earnest and free of cliche as that one.

Yeah, much as I like it, I guess it's time for Jumping Someone Else's Train to go.

Jumping Someone Else's Train should have been gone a long time ago.

Down goes my favorite song in the competition...

Funeral Party in an attempt at a double elim, I guess.

It's weird how long it took for me to actually her the original of "Lovesong" for all of the covers out there.

And then it's just sad how much longer after that it took for me to like the original more than the covers

Yeah, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I thought that the 311 version was the original for a long time. Thanks to the gods that I eventually heard the Cure version.

I want to say I knew it was a cover, but the more I think about it, I'm not sure that's true.

I was in LOVE with 50 First Dates when it came out (and still am pretty damn fond of it) and that was also near when I first got a DVD player. I watched the hell out of that disc's special features, which included the music video for the 311 version.

I'd just like to vote against any Funeral Party votes.
