They are playing Lolla.. will check them out.. Looking forward to it.

I would like to use this platform to say that The Cars are probably my favorite new-wave band. That or Tears For Fears.

Will I listen to the album? Maybe, we'll see. Sad Song has a weak chorus.

I like Blue Tip and Sad Song enough, even if they do lack the Easton solos, so to speak. They do sound like Cars songs though, which is what matters in the end.

My favorite aside from those two is probably "Too Late".

Growing up with them, we never regarded The Cars as new wave per se. They were pretty straight up pop/rock n roll to me.

Nice to see them back tho, I'll have a listen. Summer just ain't summer without a few rotations of Best Friend's Girl, Good Times Roll, Just What I needed etc..
