The best "Unplugged" ever woulda been:

Jellyfish.

evidence:
Jellyfish - New mistake - YouTube

Jellyfish - Ghost At Number One - live acoustic - YouTube

Jellyfish - Baby's Coming Back (acoustic live) - YouTube

bring it.

awesome songs, awesome arrangements, these dudes were genius.

if they did a full on MTV unplugged that shit woulda been off the motherfucking hook!

beat that.

The suspense of the title made me choke a bit as I held my breath with anticipation.

i didn't suspect that this thread would be such an easy win for the 'fish.
there weren't really any other contenders to the title.

literally.

that's a pretty interesting choice.

Some of their stuff is pretty wacky - i have a tough time imagining it, but i bet it would be cool. they're great musicians and arrangers.

- "The Soft Bulletin" would sound fantastic all stripped away. great songs on that one.

is there anything like that out there?

my rebuttal to your rebuttal is blur.

they would sound great in re-arranged acoustic form. Not as great as Jellyfish, mind you, but great nonetheless.

more blur evidence.
pretty awesome stuff - these songs are so distinctive, and they're such pros as writers and arrangers -

Blur - For Tomorrow(Live) - YouTube

blur 1997 - YouTube

but it's still not as awesome as jellyfish.
