I have no particular argument for or against illegal downloading. Just, speaking for myself, I steal copious amounts of music every day because it's fun, it's easy, it's convenient, I enjoy it, and it's cheap. The same reason any red-blooded American nahn Utahn would do anything.

Probably not the best comparison.
I did buy all the Survivors seasons and switched region codes on my computer to watch.

Understood.

I'll put my responses to the moral dilemma within either medium in easy bulleted format

Film - "I feel I'm justified by particular means of availability and the extent to which I contribute to the market within and beyond reasonable means."

Music - "Ehhh, fuck it. *click*"

Survivors, as a title, would probably work a lot better with the tied up chick thing I was going for. In theory.

Probably the most cogent point made thus far.

As perhaps the most well-publicized thief here, allow me to weigh in:

I've never downloaded a movie (other than The Room, which I have since bought) or a video game.

I don't necessarily condone downloading music, but the system I've established makes me feel better: download, listen, delete if I don't like, buy if I do. Now it's obviously not a perfect system and I don't download without a slight tinge of guilt. Obviously, running into a record store and yoinking an LP isn't really an option. But since this technology is available to me, I utilize it to both educate myself and make informed decisions on what to spend my money on.

I'll be actually buying the box-set, even if I can't necessarily afford it!

You should consider "weighing in" at some point as well.

That aside, well said, thanks for the contribution.

Yeah, but he gave Tommy Wiseau money. That's not OK.

$9.75 was a small price to pay for a DVD which gives me tons of enjoyment (porn DVDs are like $40, so fuck that). Coupled with the fact that he signed it wishing my "drems" come true, it might be my best investment in a while.

Speaking of porn, I wonder if everyone who's so adamant about paying for everything hasn't viewed their fair share of gratis hotties.

This. Funneling money to untalented fools isn't exactly a good use of positive reinforcement. That's a download if I ever heard of one.
