It's not. But hey, it's a DFA release so I at least partially expected it.

Why are we having Random Music Talk in the year-end thread?

Or am I missing something?

2013 album discussion usually goes here while we're compiling our lists.

Okay, guess I can cross that one off my list, then. I was on the fence about it to begin with.

It's popping up on a lot of year-end lists, just by the way.

42 songs on my best song shortlist... gonna post about a top 15 I reckon. Blog and here.

Whilst going through my itunes I totally forgot about this one, I bought the compilation on the back of this track alone

Tom Waits feat. Keith Richards - Shenandoah - YouTube

It's nice to see Personal Record in some end-of-year lists. It's a warm, underrated record that I go back to very often. She's a Mirror is one of my favorite songs of the year.

It's not gonna make the cut for me, but that's hardly an indictment. This year was just too strong.

How high up on people's song lists would "Naughty Farmer" be?

Anyone heard Pale Green Ghosts by John Grant? This thing is turning up on all kinds of year-end lists.
